After-school dance programs integrated with
Global Awareness and Giving

Menaka Narayanan

The idea for Give It All originated the week after Menaka attended a Youth Leadership Camp conducted by the World Affairs Council this summer. Inspired by the experience, she felt that yound children, especially at the elementary and middle school level, do not have many opportunities to learn about the world. She will be a junior at Roosevelt High School this fall.

Menaka is responsible for the overall execution of Give It All dance program on a day-to-day basis, including marketing, communicating the goals of the organization to all stakeholders, and ensuring that the dance programs.
 

Madhavi Narayanan

Madhavi has been dancing since she was 3, and has been learning ballet, tap, jazz, modern and Bharatanatyam, an Indian classical dance.

She graduated from Roosevelt High School this year and will be going to Harvard College to pursue Economics & Political Science.

Madhavi is responsible for developing the dance curriculum for Give It All, and will also be involved in researching and selecting partner organizations.

 

Manisha Narayanan

Manisha studied Physics, Mathematics and French at the Johns Hopkins University and will be pursuing a masters degree in Applied Mathematics at the University of Washington starting this Fall. Manisha was a Girl Scouts Gold Award winner in 2008.

In addition to being a dance instructor for Give It All, Manisha does all the back-end work - website creation and maintenance, scheduling, accounting and other paperwork.
